It seems that a lot of my bloggy friends are dog people. I like dogs, but in my book they come second to cats. Please don't be offended. I love cats - we always had one when we were growing up. I tried to have one since I've been married (40 years) but there was always someone in the house who was allergic. Now that there's just two of us at home now, I realize that our lifestyle is not conducive to cat ownership. We're just on the road too much. Maybe someday....but not yet.
That's not what I wanted to talk about.
My youngest daughter and her husband are celebrating their third anniversary this month. They're a sweet couple, very happy together and Allan is a welcome addition to our family. They met on-line...not to unusual these days. They had mutual friends but their first communication was on-line.
So what does that have to do with cats, you ask? Besides the fact that they have a beautiful one named Hero.
We had them over for dinner tonight and Allan sat with my iPad and pulled up YouTube videos for us to watch. They were quite hilarious. I'm going to share one with you here. I hope you enjoy it, and find the connection between the two disparate topics I started rambling on about.
These videos won't imbed but you can see them by clicking on the link. The first one is the actual on-line dating video. The second is the video after it was songified. Very funny.

Well my bloggie friend, my son and his wife met on line as well. Sadly, I fall in the category of allergic to cats. I love them dearly but my eyes and face swell up when I'm in the room with them. My favorite Christmas present as a child was a softy silky like stuffed white kitten.
Hugs~
I love cats too, but my affection for them has never brought me to tears. I guess I just don't love them quite enough.
Lovely pictures of your daughter and her hubby and the cat too.
Hi there. I know several of my daughter's friends that have met on-line and married and are so happy together. Lovely wedding pic of your daughter and her husband. I enjoyed the videos today!
Why, oh why can't I just hug on every cat!!! Boo Hoo! Wow! She's a keeper. I wonder if she likes cats.
I love you!! I love cats. I always have and they are a huge problem when I want to go someplace. After my last one died I said I'd never have another one because of that one fact. But Hank has filled a void that keeps me being able to talk to somebody in the house and the entertainment he provides. He's the funniest cat I've ever had.
You could always take your cat with you
BTW: Have Jo and Holly gotten in touch with you? When you get here we are all going to tube the Salt River.
Yeah really! :)
I loved two cats, Mr.T and Mrs Tiggy Winkle. They were siblings and Tiggy simply disappeared when she was 9 while Mr.T lived to the ripe old age of 17. Before they lived with us I was a dog person and since they have been gone, I am a dog person again. Cat lovers can only love certain cats. Now about the video, the comments were all pretty awful and the girl was only having fun.
I have seen that and it is so funny! Happy anniversary to your kidlets.
