You Won't See These Ads Today!

My friend Mickey sent me an email today with the following real ads...ads that wouldn't be allowed to be published today for reasons that will become obvious as you read them.  Some are funny - some are just sad.  Imagine promoting beer as being good for breast-feeding mothers and nursing babies!  Read and laugh...or weep!  We've come a long way, baby.

So, what do you think?

P.S.  I've disabled the word verification aspect of making comments.

I remember when I was first married and it was the first Christmas. That jerk gave me a vacuum cleaner all wrapped up in a Christmas wrapped box. I'm still mad. I should have left him then instead of waiting three decades. It kind of summed up that whole marriage experience.

Wish some had been dated!

Christmas morning she'll be happier with a Hoover!!!!!!!
It was a few Christmases before Randy got the picture that frying pans were NOT good Christmas presents!
We've come a long way, baby!

I can't tell you what might happen to that Hoover if I were to find it wrapped, under a Christmas tree, with my name on the tag!

I guess I'll go against the grain here and admit that I am very much hoping for a vacuum for my upcoming birthday.
And what's with the girl in the "Chubbies" ad? I wish I was as slim as her!

I am not a spam robot but I do love my Dyson vacuum. I think there might be two slightly different generations of feminists here.
